Payments

Take money the way your customers pay.

19 payment integrations are built and tested today, covering cards, instant EFT, USSD, mobile money and cash. The money goes to the operator's own accounts. Skynat Go never holds order money.

Ready to switch on

Payment methods available today.

An operator switches on the gateways that work in their country and connects their own merchant account to each one. Checkout only offers what is set up for the customer's country.

Mobile money in 21 countries

Through pawaPay, one integration reaches about fifty mobile money wallets. A waiting screen follows the payment until the customer approves it on their phone.

Cash, wallets and company accounts

Cash on delivery everywhere, with a limit on how much cash each rider may carry. Customer wallets with top-ups and refunds. Company accounts that pay for staff orders from a prepaid balance or a monthly invoice, under spending rules the company sets.

77 gateways across Africa are mapped in the platform. Those not yet integrated are listed on each country's launch checklist, so we know exactly what a new market needs before it opens.

Where the money goes

Who holds what, for every order.

MoneyWho receives itHow
The customer's paymentThe operatorPaid straight into the operator's own gateway account in that territory. If an operator hasn't connected a gateway, checkout refuses it rather than sending money to the wrong party.
The store's earningsThe storeKept in the store's wallet in the app and paid out by the operator, on schedule or instantly for a fee. Instant payouts go by Paystack Transfers or bank EFT.
The rider's earnings and tipsThe riderShown before each job is accepted, kept in the rider's wallet and paid out the same way. Tips go to the rider in full.
The platform feeSkynatOne flat fee per order from the operator's prepaid credit, cash orders included. Refunded to credit if the order is cancelled.
Card numbersNo one on the platformCard details are entered on the payment provider's own page. They never reach Skynat Go's servers.

Tax invoices and statements, done for you.

  • VAT tax invoices issued on delivery, numbered in sequence. The store invoices the goods and the platform invoices its fees; tips stay off the invoice.
  • Full tax invoices for large orders or when a customer gives a VAT number, abridged invoices below that.
  • Refunds raise credit notes at the original rate.
  • Earnings statements for riders and stores, and fee statements for operators.
